Viewing Information About a CSDR Service Instance

This section describes how to query information about service instances.

Prerequisites

A CSDR instance has been successfully applied for ECSs/BMSs.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Cloud Server Disaster Recovery Console using a VDC administrator or a VDC operator account.
  2. Query information about a service instance.

You can use either of the following methods to query a service instance:

    • From the drop-down list next to All Statuses, select the desired state. Specific service instances are displayed.

For example, if you select Normal, all service instances in the Normal state will be displayed.

    • Enter a service instance name and press Enter. All service instances whose names contain the entered content will be displayed.

For example, if you enter instance, all service instances whose names contain instance will be displayed.

Table 1 describes the parameters related to information of the service instance.
Table 1 Parameters about service instances

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

    Name of a service instance.

    Status

    • Normal: The service instance is normal.
    • Locked: ECSs/BMSs in the production and DR centers are locked.
    • Deleting: The service instance is being deleted.
    • Deletion failed: The instance fails to be deleted.
    • In planned migration: This operation will migrate data or applications protected by the recovery plan from the production site to the DR system.
    • Planned migration competed: This operation has migrated data or applications protected by the recovery plan from the production site to the DR system.
    • Planned migration failed: Migration of data or applications protected by the recovery plan from the production site to the DR site has failed. Contact the customer service to handle this problem.
    • Rectifying faults: This operation will use the latest backup data at the DR system for the recovery.
    • Faults recovery completed: Data on the production ECS/BMS has been migrated to the DR ECS/BMS.
    • Failed to rectify faults: Data on the production ECS/BMS fails to be migrated to the DR ECS/BMS. Contact the customer service to handle this problem.
    • Reprotecting: When the fault is rectified, reprotection is being performed on the production and DR ECSs/BMSs. Click Reprotecting under Status to view details about reprotecting.
    • Reprotection failed: When the fault is rectified, reprotection fails to be performed on the production and DR ECSs/BMSs.
    • Testing: The recovery plan of the service instance is being tested.
    • Test completed: The recovery plan test of the service instance is complete.
    • Test failed: The recovery plan test of the service instance has failed.
    • Clearing: Test data of the service instance is being cleared.
    • Clearing failed: Clearance of the test data of the service instance has failed.
    • In maintenance: The current service instance is not allowed to be operated. The DR administrator is maintaining the service instance.
    • Modify Protection Type Failed: Failed to change the protection type of VHA+CSDR instance to VHA or CSDR. Rectify the fault based on the error message displayed on the GUI and perform the operation again.

    Protection Type

    • CSDR
    • VHA+CSDR

    Replication Status

    • Normal: EVS disks are normal.
    • Synchronizing: The data of EVS disks is synchronizing. Click Synchronizing under Replication Status to view the synchronization progress and remaining synchronization time of the current instance.
    • Inactivated: The data synchronization of the EVS disks is suspended.
    • Faulty: The data synchronization of the EVS disks is faulty.
    • Disconnect: The data synchronization of the EVS disks is interrupted.

    ECS/BMS Quantity

Number of protected ECSs/BMSs in the service instance.

    Replication Policy

Replication policy of protected ECSs/BMSs in the service instance.

    Created

Creation time of the service instance.

    Last Execution Time

Time when the last replication operation is performed on the service instance.

    Description

    Description of the service instance.
